September 2016 "Fix" #3 Review

This month I had the same stylist as I did for my last fix, and once again she did awesome for me...  I LOVED 4 out of 5 items..I had high hopes of loving the whole box, but again, once you break it apart, it gets expensive...

A little about Stitch Fix, and how it works:

*You fill out your personal style profile.  It asks questions about your height, weight, sizes, preference on fit, and style preferences.. You can also add a note to the stylist.  Make sure that you link to your Pinterest board so they know what kind of things appeal to you.

*Then order your first fix!  You will be charged a $20 styling fee, but if you keep at least 1 item, that fee is credited toward your purchase.  You receive 5 items, and if you purchase all of them you will receive a 25% discount

*Pick what you want to keep/return within 3 business days..they send a prepaid return envelope for your convenience.

*You can also decide how often you want to receive your Stitch Fix deliveries..I chose every other month, but you can change it to whatever your little heart desires..

So let's get started with my review..

I requested a cross body bag for fall, and pinned quite a few that I liked and she sent me the
Demi Fold Over Vegan Leather Crossbody Bag $48
I'm pretty sure that I will keep this! :)

The first top that I pulled out is super cute, and TOTALLY my style.
Crespi Split Neck Blouse by Collective Concepts $37
I LOVE this top...it's a keeper!
I paired it with the Adorra Skinny Jean by Just Black $88
I do like these quite a bit....I'm trying to decide if I like them for $88...maybe

Next up was the Muller Ruffle Detail Blouse by Skies are Blue $54
I like this top, quite a bit, but again...not sure if I like it enough to spend $54 when the weather is quickly cooling off in Upstate New York...

Lastly... I'm not sure why she sent a dress.  Probably because I selected that she could choose date night outfits..??  It's cute, and started to grow on me, but I don't think I'm going to keep it.

Hello.....Welcome

I started getting Stitch Fix boxes recently, and thought it would be a good idea to maybe review them a little.  Give people an idea of what it's all about, as well as give my opinion on my "fixes" if you will.  This is "Fix" number 2 for me, so Im a little behind, and the lighting was TERRIBLE for these pictures. but I promise to work on it for the next review..

My husband & I are headed to the Dominican tomorrow to celebrate my birthday, so I requested that my stylist (does't that sound swanky) send me items that I could wear while at the resort...  She really did an AMAZING job....unfortunately, it didn't all fit...I swear I have body dysmorphia because I am convinced that I'm at least a size or 2 bigger than what I am :(   Okay, here we go...

Weston Faux Wrap Dress by Papermoon

I LOVE this dress!  It fit me perfect, and just felt super soft!

Clarise Scoop Neck Tank by Fun2Fun

I don't really feel like this top fit me quite right... I LOVE the print so much that I almost kept it for that simple fact.. I even tried it with leggings to see if the length would work

Xylia Embroidered Top by Collective Concepts

Next they paired this same top with the Jordie Abstract Print Maxi Skirt by Renee C

I'm not sure I like the complete outfit, but I did LOVE the skirt..the print is totally my style

Lastly...the idea was to wear this Arley Dress by Skies are Blue to dinner....
I'm not a fan of the way it fit me...I don't think it did anything for my figure...

So there it is..my entire Stitch fix box this month.  I feel like everything in it is SO me and my style, but unfortunately I didn't keep everything..  :(

Papermoon Faux Wrap Dress $68 KEEPER
Fun2Fun Clarise Scoop Neck Top $38 Returned
Collective Concepts Xylia Embroidered Top $48 Returned
Skies are Blue Arley Dress $68 Returned
Renee C Jordie Abstract Print Maxi $58 Returned

Unfortunately, I'm cheap when it comes to some things..If I had loved everything, I would've kept the whole box and saved 25%, but when you start breaking it apart, it gets steep (at least for me) and I didn't want to spend $58 on a maxi, or $48 on a tank top..but I did spent the $68 on the dress because it was worth it to me, and I LOVED it!!

The jeans are from the last "Fix" I got from I think Kut From The Cloth. They are super stretchy, and really comfortable.  I kept those and this top...

You can go to Stitch Fix and look around...maybe order your own Fix.  Try it, you might like it!!  Thanks for stopping by.. I promise to work on the pictures, and the horrendous faces I make when I'm taking my pictures :)
